Nope. It doesn’t smell because I wear socks. :)
Run United 2
Last March, I joined the Run United 1 and ran in the 21km category. I remember finishing it for almost 4 hours. I’ve been hooked into running just last year. My first fun run was in Nike We Run Manila last December. And by then, I swear myself that I should at least run 10km minimum in a month. Which didn’t happen for the first 3 months. March came and I have realized I haven’t trained enough for this event. But who the hell cares, I’m still gonna go and finish it. On my 7th km, I suddenly felt my feet cramping and blisters were forming on my sole. I did stop running and began to walk because the blisters were killing me. So I managed to finish the run, WALKING. I felt ashamed of myself and envy those other girls who ran fast. I have promised myself to join those 3 legs and finish the half marathon in a justifiable time. And here it goes, my record in Run United 2, 21km category. Running without proper training is not advisable especially if it’s going to be long runs. Don’t run for the sake of the finisher’s shirt or the medal or the freebies. You need to run for yourself. You need to set a goal and get motivated everyday to reach it. If we’re disciplined and determined enough, it’s never too late to achieve whatever we want.
